APC WNSP and Feminist Technology Training Over the course of 10 years, the APC WNSP has initiated and participated in information and communication technology (ICT) training activities targeted towards increasing and enhancing the capacity of women's organisations and women's rights activists in using ICTs strategically, creatively and appropriately for their work. This has included the Women's Electronic Network Training in Asia and in Africa as well as working directly with organisations to enhance their ICT use and understanding. Through all of these training initiatives, the APC WNSP has developed feminist values in technology training. Values such as facilitating training workshops which were participatory, which delved into the politics of technologies, which emphasised women's empowerment, have always been part of the APC WNSP philosophy and approach to capacity building. In 2008, these values and approach to training was encapsulated in one phrase: Feminist Practices and Politics of Technology (FPT).
